Coucou,

We’re happy to share a mix we recently made for our friend Otto, the head hancho behind Bordello A Parigi. You might recognise the name since Bordello A Parigi has been helping us distribute our catalogue since Dee Dee’s Picks genesis back in 2021. But for those unfamiliar, Amsterdam’s Bordello A Parigi is a record label, clothing brand, distributor and webshop that has been a key player in the Italo-Disco scene since 2011, bringing a deep passion and expertise to the genre.

The mix before you is a collection of Italo-Disco tracks from the ‘70s to the early ‘90s, with a few detours fringing in other genres such as New Beat and Disco Boogie, all sharing the common theme of coming from Switzerland. It’s a little journey through some of our favorite sounds, blending nostalgic beats, classic songs, cheesy tunes and of course lesser-known odd sounds.

Hereby Bordello Radio #171; a mix to add a little groove to your weekend, suitable to be listened while rollerskating in Vondelpark or sunbathing by the Léman Lake.

The photo here was taken during our lunch break, right outside the Bordello A Parigi shop. Thank you to Maija Jussila for capturing the moment.

Wishing you a lovely day,
-Dee Dee
