Pursuing the Dee Dee’s Club Picks series, hereby presenting its second edition.
If I were to describe this mix with one word, I would use agnostic, under the premise of maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. Why? All of the tracks featured are something that I cannot fit adequately in a category. Is it dub or breakbeat? Electro or acid? Cold wave or drum n bass? EBM or a take on Mongolian throat singing? Abstract & Experimental club music. I couldn’t figure it out. Maybe you can. The compiled tracks also are also an hommage to the people I met in my last trip to Switzerland in July. From the sombre alleys of Zurich and the highest hills of Lausanne, to the shiniest sun in Geneva as well as the wettest nights in Winterthur and to the dustiest festivals all around. There is a bit of something from everyone, for everyone. My way to preserve thoughts and authenticity, a token of appreciation for those who hosted me and are helping make Dee Dee’s Picks a thing. I hope some of you recognise yourselves in the mix.

Some of these tracks are fresh off the vinyl press. Others are snapshots from what has been released these past 5 years and one is part of next month’s release on Dee Dee’s Picks. However, I would be amiss if I didn’t mention that all of these tracks have a special place in my heart, from one moment to the other. Right behind me, giving me the best should rub before coming back, or being on the go.

Finally, this mix is also an indicator of what is to come. Starting October, there will a release per month on Dee Dee’s Picks until February, all club oriented for the darkest of nights.
