Echobox Radio Volume 30.

Cosmic Sounds from Switzerland, from the past and today.

Coucou,

This month’s show for our residency on Echobox radio is titled Cosmic sounds from Switzerland.
.
Music suitable for outer space transmissions and communicating with the sun. An arrangement of music to serve as a partial soundtrack to the cosmos. Ranging from feedback loops to ethereals textures. At times rhythmic, at times drone. Sometimes whispered, other times hurried. Balance and unpredictability are key. Although time is perceived differently in space, this is an attempt to connect the past and present, to render clairvoyance and keep ourselves grounded within the gravity pull of earth.

The first half hour is music from the previous century whereas the second half is completed with contemporary artists. Featuring music by guests I’ve had on the show before, upcoming and past releases on Dee Dee’s Picks and also the usual unearthed gems that I collected since its genesis, I invite you to a trip in the cosmos, star explosions and milkyway immersion alike.
.
Video is a cosmic rendition of Switzerland after being picked up by my dad coming home from a gig last December. Footage and fx by Debbie.
.
Wishing you a lovely day,
-Dee Dee
